The Quest for Meaning

This world is a very funny place, and us human beings are the funniest species to have walked here. It’s actually pretty amazing, how we try to give meaning to everything. Our one basic drive is to find some meaning in life. Some go the religious way, trying to find meaning in god. Some go the ambitious way, trying to find meaning in achievement.  Some try to find meaning in love while some try finding it in their families, their duties. A few rebellious kinds try solving the deeper  problems, trying to figure out the mystery of life, trying to find unison with the Great Soul. It goes on, 6 billion people, 6 billion ways of finding the meaning.

Me? I don’t know. All I see is the present, the moment. I am just trying to maintain pace with it, if you are slow it will slip and you will be left with the past if you are quick, you will exceed looking at a future that may never come. To try and maintain pace with it is very difficult. You need all your senses working, you need to be alert. But if you can do it, you will see it, what I see.

Life, it goes on.
