Morbid Wanderer

In this vastness as dark as night
I walk without a clue
Who knows where the lake is?
My guess is as good as your fluke

Treading through the emptiness
I don’t know where I am headed
But wherever that place be?
I am sure it must be dreaded

Alas! Its fate and I am bound to wander
Through dry deserts, and dark woods
Through silent valleys and empty hoods
Till the end where the stranger stood

The stranger I know is my destiny
And No one has seen his face
Sigh for all I know he might be a she
And how would it change my case?

For I am bound to wander
Through the endless desert of despair
Hope might be found at some Oasis
But we all know its Rare
